Thanksgiving – 17 January 2026

1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for your guidance and protection over my family and loved ones, and for your intercession all these years. I thank God for granting my sons good jobs, for a Blessed 2025 and for the new 2026.

2. I thank the Lord for sustaining me through a nine hours surgery, four rounds of chemotherapy, and fifteen sessions of radiotherapy. Even in pain and weakness, God never abandoned me. He blessed me with minimal side effects and gave me strength to persevere. I am thankful for His protection over my family during my treatment and for the gift of life He continues to grant me.

3. Dearest Mother,

I thank you wholeheartedly for being with my eldest daughter during her PSLE exams. She was amazed that she passed, and was enrolled in her first choice of secondary school, which is a Catholic school. Mother you knew how desperate and anxious she was before her PSLE examinations and about the school she would be enrolled in. I prayed to you very fervently. Without you, Mother, this wouldn’t have been possible.

4. Dearest Mother Mary

I am writing this letter to thank you from the bottom of our hearts and express our immense gratitude for interceding to Jesus for my husband’s successful operation to remove cancerous tumors last week. We continue to trust in God and rely on Him fully in all we do. This health scare has taught us many things as a family. The most important thing is that we should have hope and faith and that God will be with us in our ups and downs and make a path for us. We only need to rely on Him and trust him. We hope to share this belief with everyone we meet. Emmanuel, God is with us!! Praise, The Lord! Thank you so much Mother Mary for being with us during this difficult journey. Please continue to pray with us and strengthen us!

5. Dearest Lord,

Thank you so much for blessing our family in 2025. We thank you, Lord, for blessing my mum, she is at peace, though she is suffering from dementia. We really thank you for providing for us, though both my sister and I have no jobs. No words can express our thanks and appreciation to you Lord.

6. Dearest Mother Mary,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being there for me. You have never let me down. My husband passed more than 16 years ago, leaving me with 3 very young children, one of whom is a child with special needs. I was devastated, as I did not know how I was going to bring up 3 children on my own. I am grateful to my extended family who was always there to give a helping hand. Mother Dearest, I know that you and Your Son, Jesus, have been with me every step of the way. There were very challenging times when I was miserable but somehow, with Your help, I survived. Despite being a single mother, I have tried to give my children as much as I was able to, ensuring that they had all that they needed. This was only possible with Your help. The children are grown up now and I ask that You continue to pray for us and lead us to always do what God wants us to do.
