Thanksgiving – 8 November 2025

1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you so much for praying for our children and keeping them safe. I am truly grateful for all the blessings and graces. They have come a long way. I trust that you will continue to pray and care for them.  Thank you, Mama Mary, for everything.

2. We would like to give thanks for the intercession of Mother Mary for the birth of a lovely baby boy after 7 years of marriage. The journey to conceiving a baby was difficult and we faced a lot of judgement from even our loved ones.  It got very difficult for us to attend festive gatherings for fear that we would be asked intrusive questions. Last year my parents went to Perak to my late grandmother’s hometown. They visited the Catholic Church my grandmother went to as a child, and asked for Mother Mary’s intercession there. Shortly after, my father had a dream that I would conceive. A few months later, we miraculously found out we were expecting. It was so surreal for my husband and me. We are thankful and remain faithful to the Lord for blessing us with our boy. We would also like to honour Mother Mary for her special intercession for us.  Praise be to God.

3. Dear Mother,

Thank You for hearing my prayers that all the remaining hostages in Gaza would be released. Please continue to intercede for Gaza so that it can be rebuilt and be governed properly, and there will be peace in the Middle East.

Your loving daughter.

4. Dear Mother,

I write this letter with a profound sense of gratitude and thanks. Three weeks ago, I came to your shrine to pray for my father who has many health issues. I prayed that his health will be stable. His health checks since have all been within normal parameters for his age. You have always interceded for him. With a grateful heart.

Your Catholic daughter.

5. Dearest Mother Mary,

I was on the verge of losing my daughter some years back. I am very grateful and thankful for your intercession to God. Now she has turned over a new leaf and she is going for further studies. Please continue to intercede for my daughter, that she will come back to the Church. Thank you, my dearest Mother.

Your grateful son.

6. Dearest Mother,

Since July end, I have been seeking your intercession and attending Novena to seek the Lord’s guidance about my current career in my organisation. These past few months have been plagued with uncertainty, worries, fears and unknowns. However, as of last Friday, I made my decision to leave the organisation after 21 years. Though the road ahead is uncertain as I have not found alternative employment, I heard your voice telling me to do the right thing and to follow your guidance. I sincerely thank you, Mother, and your Son for guiding me all the while, in doing the right thing for myself and for my family, and to leave this organisation with dignity and my head held high with a good payout. I know that the Lord has a plan for me and I know that He will open another door for me when this door closes. Thank you, Mother, and your Son. Your Catholic son.

7. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Succour,

Thank you for keeping us safe and healthy during our recent holiday to Bhutan. Thank you for the new friends we made and for the enjoyable time we had during our trip.

Your loving daughter.

8. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for your intercession. My son has recovered and is back in school today. It was a muscular pull, and not heart or lung-related. My eldest has completed her 2 midterm papers. Mother Mary, thank you for watching over them. May the Lord continue to lift them, heal & restore them.

Your loving daughter.
