Petitions – 7 June 2025

1. Dear Mother Mary,

Please pray for my aunt, who is very old and has lung cancer. She is in a serious condition, and might be leaving this world anytime soon. Please Mother, help her to know our Lord Jesus Christ, and may you and our Lord touch and comfort her.

2. Mother Mary,

Please intercede to the Lord for the many things that are happening in my life. I pray for the discipline, energy, and wisdom to tackle them all. My wife is pregnant with our second child. Please pray that her first check-up goes well and the child will be without issues. I am also pushing for a change to a new role that will help me in my career. Help me to have the patience to let things play out, to be wise and courageous to put the right foot forward, and to accept things as God’s will. With the family expanding, we are looking for a new home. Pray that we make the right financial decision and we may get the dream home we desire.

Your Catholic Son.

3. Mother of Perpetual Help,

I come before you today in deep distress and humility. I am burdened with financial woes and have not a penny to my name. For three long years, I have worked hard and diligently repaid my credit card debts in instalments, and now, I have only a few months to go. Dearest Mother, you know my struggles— the sleepless nights, the anxiety, and the quiet tears. Please intercede for me before your beloved Son, Jesus. Help me find the means to complete my payments and lift this heavy burden. I also place before you a special petition, dear Mother: I pray for the financial help needed to pay for my son’s university fees. Grant that he may continue his education and walk a path of hope, success, and service. Mother of Mercy, I place all my trust in you. You have never failed those who come to you in need. Wrap me and my family in your mantle of love and protection. Lead us to the help we need, through the grace of your Son. Amen.

4. Dearest Mother Mary,

My wife is battling an incurable, inoperable and aggressive brain tumour. She is fighting hard for our two young kids and the family, and we desperately seek your intercession for a miracle healing. You understand her pain as a mother, and we entrust her life and our family to your care. May Jesus grant her healing and mercy. Jesus and Mother Mary, we trust in you. With love.

Your faithful son.

5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Succour,

I come to you again to beg you to please intercede for the mental, emotional and physical healing of my son and his wife. Their marriage seems to be going through rough times. Mother, please intercede that they may firstly trust in your Son and surrender their worries and cares to Jesus. Please Mother, I have no one to turn to. Please help them and send the right people for them to turn to for help and please save their marriage. Mother, for years, I have been praying for the conversion of my daughter-in-law to the Catholic faith and to accept you as her Mother. But Mother, they seem to be moving away from Church. I continue to pray for them, knowing that surely they will ultimately turn to your Son Jesus and be converted. Thank you Mother.

Your loving daughter.

6. Dearest Mother Mary,

Pease intercede for my wife’s health. She will be going for a medical procedure. I pray for your intercession that everything will be okay.

Your loving children.

7. Dear Mother Mary,

The new school trimester has just commenced for me, and I ask that you watch over me as I go about completing it and ultimately graduating in August. I entrust the trimester into your hands, please be there for me, no matter how tough it gets. Thank you.

Your daughter.

8. I pray that my sister, who is the caregiver of my parents and is looking after our family, be given strength, energy, love, happiness, protection, guidance, and health, and will always be safe. Thank you.

9. Dearest Mother Mary,

I am writing on behalf of my auntie, who has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Please intercede to your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and if it is His will, may she recover. May Jesus bless her and her family with strength and courage during this difficult period. Thank you.

Your Catholic son.

10. God help me and my future wife to restore our relationship and bring us back on track to get married and fix what needs fixing in our lives. While we wait in God, may He bring us on a journey to deepen our love for each other, and not get divorced when we do get married in God’s timing.
