With a grateful heart, I thank you for being at my side, especially on my exchange in Australia. It was a journey full of highs and many lows, but throughout the journey you have been beside me, praying for me and loving me. At my lowest point, you were right there with me, comforting me and sharing my sorrows. Thank you so much, my dearest Mother.
Your Son.

7. Dear Mother Mary,
I would like to thank you for interceding to your Son, Jesus Christ, for the many prayers I have come to you with especially for my children. Just gazing at your eyes in the icon gives me so much peace and hope. Everything my family and I have is a blessing from our Lord Jesus through you. You have heard my cries, my happiness and my gratefulness each time I come to you. Thank you so much, Mother Mary. You are the greatest Mother of all human-kind.
Your Grateful Child.
8. Dearest Mother Mary,
I am not a catholic but my dearest daughter and grandsons are catholics. I want to thank you, Mother Mary, for your intercession: my blood test result was good, and my husband who had hurt his leg is recovering well now.
Your Non-Catholic Daughter.
9. Dearest Mother,
This is definitely an overdue thanksgiving letter. Firstly, thank you Mother, for giving me the strength to keep the child I had when I was 19 years old. I was contemplating an abortion as my ex-boyfriend didn’t want the child. You have journeyed with me for the past 15 years as an unwed mother. My daughter has grown into a lovely teenager. Recently, she was having seizures, and after undergoing an ECG scan, she was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. I was devastated as I couldn’t be there for her in Malaysia, as I am here in Singapore working hard to provide for her. But once again, you have shown your kindness and generosity — she is back in school and is getting all the support she needs though she has to be on long term medication. Lastly, I want to thank you for your intercession when our house was about to be auctioned off two years ago. I came to your shrine and begged you for help. You heard my prayers, and I managed to obtain a loan from the company to stop the auction. Although I am still struggling financially, I have faith in you and your Son, that I will be able to weather any storms that come by, with your guidance. Thank you, Mother for everything.
