Thank you for your intercession in my life. I thank you for all the blessings that I have received and will receive. I will remain faithful and obedient to your Son, Jesus Christ.
Your Grateful Child.
2. Dear Mother,
I came to your shrine weeks ago to pray for my brother who has been jobless and seems to be hopeless. He has found a good job with a good company. Thank you very much Mother Mary for interceding for him.
Your Loving Daughter.
3. Dearest Mother Mary,
I’ve just recovered from flu and now I’ve Covid. Despite falling sick for the past 2 months, I thank you for letting me spend more time with God and to reframe my negative thoughts. I’m grateful for the meaningful time spent and the renewal of my mind.
Your Son.
4. Dearest Mother,
I have passed 1 essay and am awaiting 2 more essays to pass. I would like to thank you and Jesus and the Holy Spirit for always being with me and encouraging and helping me in my degree. This degree means a lot to me. Thank you once again for letting me pass this essay.
Your Catholic Daughter.
5. Dear Mother Mary,
I thank you for your intercession for our family. This year has been a tough year for us. My healthy 4-year-old was suddenly diagnosed with a rare bone marrow failure in February. From his stem cell transplant till the end of April, he had many transfusions and every alternate day he needed platelet transfusion. Now he is on the 185th day post-transplant. Even with his illness, however, he is always cheerful and active, very much like the other normal boys, only that he cannot really go to public places. He is so mature and understanding, I cannot thank Jesus enough for the blessing given to my son and to us. There is no word to describe our thanks to you. With the power of Jesus and your intercession, we can grow stronger and overcome this.
Your Loving Daughter.
6. Dearest Mother,
Many years ago I prayed for a grandchild. Two years ago, my daughter had a miscarriage. But just 3.5 months ago, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Thank you, Mother for answering my prayer. I am forever grateful.
Your Son.
7. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
I am writing this letter to thank you for being with me and my family during our difficult time when my husband passed away. I was left to bring up my son alone. With your guidance and blessings, I had the strength and courage to bring my son up. He is a faithful Catholic and is married with 2 children. I thank you dearest Mother for walking with me and leading me on.
Your Daughter.
8. Dearest Mother Mary,
As I sit here to write this letter, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and a sense of peace. Today marks 1 year since the most traumatic and testing period of my life. My intended wedding in October 2022 was abruptly cancelled just 1 week prior due to miscommunication and the interference of what I felt then was the work of the devil. I was riddled with anger, confusion and deep sadness. I struggled to cope with depression and managing the sadness and disappointment of my family. My mum felt most hurt and was in a state of anguish and depression which was hard to witness but was a testament to her love for me. We came to your shrine begging your intercession for God’s mercy and the grace to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I asked God to reveal His plan for me and to understand why I had to go through this ordeal. Today, I know that this experience made me a stronger person and a more faithful woman of God. God protected me all the way and never let me down. God blessed me with understanding colleagues who have now become friends and provide comfort and laughter away from the stress of work. God blessed me with understanding parents who supported me through this ordeal. All this would not have been possible without you, Mother, and God’s grace. There are still uncertainties in my life but I am confident God will never let go of anyone who implores your help!
Your Grateful Daughter.
9. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Succour,
I am grateful to you for your powerful prayers and help over the 67 years of my life. You have never failed to come to my aid especially during the critical moments when I needed help most. Indeed, many times, I was not even aware you were helping me. 32 years ago, I went into labour to give birth to my daughter. At that time, the water bag had already broken for more than 20 hours and the monitor showed a downward trend. The nurse had to shake my belly to keep the baby inside “awake”. Through your help, my daughter and I survived the difficult birth. My daughter is now a mother of a teenager. I can never thank you enough, my dearest Mother.
