I enrolled for a one-year degree programme last year. When I started the degree programme, I came for 9 weeks novena praying for guidance and wisdom to complete the degree. The past year was challenging and I faced many obstacles at work while trying to complete the degree. I received my final results today and I did well. Thank you blessed Mother, I know that you have interceded for me and asked Jesus to grant me the wisdom that I needed. I am richly blessed to have you as my Mother and cannot thank you enough with words. I will return to work with a promotion awaiting me. With this promotion, I will continue to help more people who are in financial difficulty and bring Jesus’ love to all I meet.

Thank you for your intercession and help when my mum and I came to your shrine to pray for dad’s surgery to go smoothly and successfully as he had a deep cut on his right shin. Thank you, Mama Mary and Jesus, that the surgery went smoothly and the wound is recovering well. Once again thank you Mama Mary and Jesus for everything.

I am in awe and filled with appreciation for your blessings for my friend who will be giving birth around Christmas this year. I introduced St Gerard and the Novena to him and his wife when they were hoping for a child. Since then, I carried their request with me whenever I came to Novena. We are both grateful for God granting their request to have a child.

5. Dear Mother Mary,
Last December, a few days after our wedding anniversary I found out that my husband was having an extra-marital affair. Coupled with my dad’s hospitalisation and upcoming surgery, I was crushed, lost and angry. I came to your shrine trying to piece myself together determined to go through with a divorce. During this tough period, I received so much love and support from the people around me. My husband and I managed to get the counselling we needed and decided to work on our marriage. This brought us not only closer to each other but made us realise how much we have drifted apart and away from our faith. We were so focused on our careers and worldly desires that we neglected not only each other but our relationship with God. Without God in the centre of our relationship, it crumbled. As we walk this journey of recovery together, we are humbled by Our Lord’s grace and His constant love for us. We are thankful and grateful that through your intercession, we have the courage to work on our marriage together again.

Thank you for your guidance and prayers for my mother. The doctor confirmed that my mother’s lung cancer is treatable by a course of tablets. Though the medicine is expensive, it gives us hope that our mother has more than 5 more years to be with us. My family and I thank God and you Mother, because it gives us the opportunity to be with her and care for her. Thank You Mother.

Thank you for the many intercessions and all the help that you have so kindly bestowed upon my family. Words cannot express my sincere gratitude. I came to pray for my grandson because he had a negative attitude. Now he is very positive in attitude and is working hard and keeps away from bad company. I know Mother that it is through your prayer and intercession that my grandson made his conversion and I take this opportunity to thank you, Mother, for your tremendous love for us.
