Thanksgiving – 9 Jun 2018

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I am very thankful to you for always interceding with our Lord for all my prayers. About 29 years ago, I came to your shrine to pray for a child. Within two weeks, I was blessed with one. My husband became ill when my child was 10. I came to you to pray for strength to bear the burden of taking care of my family. You blessed me with the strength physically and mentally. Today, I have managed to put my child successfully through her university in the UK. She is now happily married.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I am writing this letter to thank you for answering my prayers. Throughout my A Level examinations, I prayed to you and you have helped me go through them. When I received my results, I did not do as well and was worried. I could not enter any local university of my choice. I was really way behind the scores expected for the university. However, I prayed and visited Novena frequently and asked for your help to intercede for me. After 1 month of waiting, I got accepted into the university of my choice. It was unbelievable as I thought I could not make it. You never failed to listen to my prayers and helped me throughout all my major examinations. Without your intercession, I would not be able to enter the university and I am really grateful. Thank you for answering my prayers, Mother Mary.

Your Loving Catholic Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for all the things you and your Son had given to us. Thank you for keeping my family healthy. I want to give thanks for my mum as she has given me the most love and care and provided me with everything I need.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

No words can express my gratitude and thanksgiving to you. I have only been visiting Novena church for 5 weeks. I am not yet a Catholic but I have already received your divine intercession and experienced my Holy Mother’s mercy and love. I asked for healing of my brain aneurysm because I want to live and love and know more about God. You heard my prayers, blessed me and granted me a successful surgery and quick recovery. I was out of hospital in 5 days! I also thank you for blessing my father who was admitted to hospital for a heart problem during the time of my hospitalization. Thank you for blessing him and helping to identify where the problem was so that treatment could be administered. Thank you for watching over my father and me and for showering your grace and mercy on us.

 Your Ever-Grateful Non-Catholic Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I would like to thank you for your many blessings on my family and for always interceding for me when I pray to you. I can always feel you watching over my children and helping them through difficult times in their lives. I pray that they will realize that you are always there and will give thanks for all the blessings bestowed upon them. You helped me through my problems with my husband and slowly we are making things work in our marriage. Thank you, dearest Mother.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I owe all that I am today to your intercession to our Lord Jesus Christ, through these 62 years of my life. Mother, you have always been with me, guiding me through my academic life, my career and my family life. I am deeply grateful to have been baptized a Catholic in the year 2010. I am blessed to have a loving and united family, a close extended family, a successful career and fantastic relatives and friends. You are there for us, guiding us through interpersonal issues, helping to solve our financial problems and health issues especially for my husband who had to undergo 3 cancer operations. You also guided me through all my travelling trips. Thank you, dearest Mother, for all that you have done for me. Please continue to guide my family, friends and me in the right path in life. Please also help me to grow spiritually.

Your Grateful Child.
