Thanksgiving – 8 Sep 2018

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for your powerful intercession to obtain success in my application for downgrading to a smaller flat. It was after 3 attempts. Mother, words cannot express my gratitude. Now I have settled down in my new flat and it is indeed an ideal home. Without your prayers, I would have been unable to have such grace.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for interceding for my son and helping him to secure the job that he wanted. Mother, without your prayers to Jesus, it would not have been possible. Thank you once again and do continue to guide and protect him.

Your Child.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you so much for all the blessings that you have given to me and my family. Since I was here in 2002, you have never failed to answer all my prayers. I remember clearly before I got married in 2003, I asked for a sign and you gave it to me. In 2009, you saved my brother’s whole family when the passenger ship sank in the middle of the ocean. I remember vividly that I was here at the Novena talking to my brother to pray before the ship voyage and I prayed to you to protect the whole family on board the ship. I am very thankful, Mother Mary, and believe that you will never ignore us, your children, when we come to you and ask for your help.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

My husband and I are in our seventies and eighties. I started attending the Novena when I was 12 years old. Since then, I’ve been very devoted to you, setting an altar in my room and praying, giving thanks to God for giving you to us as our dearest Mother. We were baptised after our wedding because we had to go through our traditional Chinese ceremony.

Nevertheless, you have been with us all this while, blessing us with wonderful children and grandchildren. We are now enjoying our lives with them. Although we have had our ups and downs during our fifty over years of marriage, you have always answered our prayers and guided us in making the right decisions. Every week at the Novena, we hear a lot of petitions and thanksgiving and each time I would say to myself that I need to write my Thanksgiving letter to you. I am sorry for taking so long to write this letter. But we want you to know that you are always in our hearts wherever we are.

Thank you, dearest Mother for your love and intercession to our Lord Jesus. We love you, Mother!

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for interceding for my son who received a confirmation to his ideal Secondary School in the Direct School Admission. Thank you very much.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for your prayers in granting our petitions. My son has received blessings from the Lord to enable him to be accepted into a polytechnic course through the Early Admission Exercise. A big thank you for your guidance and blessings. Please continue to guide him and bless him to do well in his upcoming exams.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I thank you again and again for your miraculous help given to me. You are always watching over me. When I was thrown off my wheelchair, I fell onto the ground and miraculously you protected me and there was no serious injury. It is through your motherly care that I did not suffer any serious injury on my face. Everything was in order except I injured my left foot. I thank you a million times and again for your wonderful protection.

Your Loving Catholic Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I would like to thank you for helping my wife secure a job after coming to your Shrine to seek your intercession. Thank you for giving the grace to us.

Your Grateful Son.
