Thanksgiving – 8 Dec 2018

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I am writing to you to thank you for your intercession during this year. This year has been a very stressful year for me as I took my PSLE, my grandmother was diagnosed with leukaemia, and I was unsure what would happen after this year. I decided to pray to you, Mother Mary, to intercede for me in this time of need. I left it in your hands, Mother Mary. Miraculously, my prayers were answered. My grandmother is now recovering with treatment at the hospital and now I have received a favourable score for my PSLE. Thank you for everything.

Your Thankful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Words cannot express how grateful and thankful we are to you, Mother, and your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Three weeks ago, our nephew, a young man in his 30s was having a relationship with a married woman. We were very very sad and worried for him. We talked to him and told him to leave the woman. We prayed very hard asking our Mother’s powerful intercession. Then one day, he came back to his senses, apologised to his mother and to us. He told us not to worry and he will end the relationship with the married woman. Tears of joy and happiness came back to our family. Once again, we thank you, Mother and your Son, Jesus Christ.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I write this letter with a deep sense of gratitude and an overwhelming sense of joy. Throughout the 9 weeks that led up to the procession, I wrote petitions for a relative who was pregnant after experiencing miscarriages in the past. I prayed for the safety of mother and child and that the baby will be born strong and healthy without any complications. On 19 November, a baby girl was born. As I watched a video of the bundle of joy, she made her presence known by crying to the maximum of her lungs’ capacity, I smiled with teary eyes knowing that she was delightfully loud and strong, ready to explore this new world God has brought her into. I pray that God will continue to protect her, watch over her and keep her safe and that she will live her life with grace, bringing joy and love to all around her.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

I give thanks for the opportunity to attend your Devotion. It warms my heart to hear of all the miracles that constantly unfold. It makes me feel that I am not alone in this world, and that I am being watched and divinely guided.

Your Child.

  1. Dearest Mother,

This thanksgiving letter is long overdue but I wish to express my fervent thanks for your constant intercession and prayers for our family. Our baby daughter was very ill when she was an infant of few weeks with a failing liver. The doctors were unable to determine what was wrong with her and submitted her to many procedures, even a liver biopsy. Through these darkest moments of our lives, I prayed to you and your Son unfailingly and asked for strength and the grace of the Holy Spirit to guide us. As she turned one, she made a miraculous recovery and today she is a healthy and lively 3 year-old. Thank you, Mother Mary, for your unceasing intercession and I thank God for giving you to us to always watch over and pray for us.

Your Loving Daughter

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for answering my prayers and keeping me calm during my PSLE. Thank you for giving me the motivation and self discipline to study hard through the year. I also thank you for giving me the idea to pray the rosary and go to the adoration room before every single one of my papers. Last but not least, it is because of you that I managed a PSLE T-score of 264. I know that this would not have been possible without your love and intercession. I will definitely continue praying and seeking your guidance!

Your Ever-Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you so much for your kind intercession for me. A while ago, I had my medical results telling me that there was a growth in my body. I was very worried and came to your shrine to pray every Saturday. Miraculously upon my 2nd medical checkup, the doctor told me the growth had disappeared and my body is all good. I could not believe it. Up till now, I have never ever been so grateful in my life and I would like to share this piece of good news with you and to all who believe in you and the power of God. I love you Mother, and will always go forth to live as your child filled with love and gratitude – to spread the good news of the Lord.

Your Catholic Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother,

I am writing this thanksgiving letter to let others know the power of the Rosary. My mother was taken ill in Malaysia this afternoon and was rushed to the hospital. Upon hearing the news, I started to pray the Rosary and it gave me a sense of peace and assurance. I just heard that my mother is much better. This could only be possible due to your intercession, Mother, and your Son, Jesus. Thank you so much Heavenly Mother, for looking after my earthly mother in her time of need. I am most grateful and thankful.

Your Loving Daughter.
