Thanksgiving – 7 July 2018

1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Approximately two months ago, I sent in a petition for a successful surgery of a benign tumour of 5cm in my brain. The surgery was successful, and I have recovered almost 80% of the use of my left leg and 100% of my left hand. Thank you for choosing a good surgeon and team to carry out the surgery and for a wonderful team of loving nurses to take care of me. I was discharged within 10 days. I also want to thank you for my friends and relatives who were praying for me. Thank you, dearest Mother, for your love and intercession not only for this, but for all the occasions you unceasingly interceded for me.

2. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

My hubby has just told me that he will attend Novena with me and my children. It is a good start for us after he had stopped attending with us. I pray and hope that he will join the RCIA soon. Thank you very much for interceding with our Lord Jesus Christ.

3. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your kind intercession for my elder sister. There were a few complications during her pregnancy especially bleeding from the nose. I came to Novena Church and prayed for her. We give thanks and praise that she gave birth to a healthy baby girl on 25^th June. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

4. Dear Mother Mary,

My son and his family returned home safely after a holiday in Osaka on 16^th June. After their return, there was an earthquake there which caused death and injury. Mother, my husband and I want to thank you and your Son, for bringing my son’s family safely home. I also wish to thank you for bringing my daughter safely back from the Camino Walk in Spain. She has also come back with a spiritually stronger faith. Thank you for your intercession and prayers for her.

5. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your prayers, I have been attending the Novena Saturday after Saturday since 2012. Thank you for healing my mother from cancer 6 years ago. I know that you will pray for us when we ask you for your intercession.

6. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

As we begin our 9 weeks Novena today, I would like to pen my thanksgiving for all my petitions throughout my life from a teenager till now. I am 61 years old and I am thankful for all the blessings and intercessions that you have showered upon me. Thank you for your motherly love, care and concern throughout my life. Though my life has not been smooth, it was surely your love that pulled me through the difficult and challenging moments.  I know that you are always with me. Please continue to intercede for me and my family that we will always remain faithful to our Faith, and lead us close to your Son, Jesus Christ.

7. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for blessing my whole family with peace, good health and harmony. Thank you for letting my family go on a trip together before the school reopened. I had an enjoyable time with my family, and I pray that I will work harder when school reopens.
