Thanksgiving – 29 Jun 2019

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I came to your shrine 9 weeks ago and asked for your help to intercede for me to find a job soon as I had been unemployed since last February. For the past 9 weeks, both my sons had received scholarships to further their studies and today I was offered a position in a local bank. Indeed, you have been with us all this while and we are very grateful to you.

Your Loving Child.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for helping my three colleagues in their needs. Through your intercession, their prayers have been answered.

Your Faithful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

My husband and I have been married for two years and though we have worked and lived in Singapore for more than 8 years and it has become our second home but it is difficult for us to start a family here. So we have decided to migrate to Australia and we have prepared ourselves for the past 2 years and our prayers were answered last week. Our application has been approved and in a matter of months we shall be in Australia to start a new life and a family that we dreamt of. During this preparation, God has been guiding our path and we received strength from prayers and also from attending the devotion in Novena Church. It was not a smooth ride, but it was all worth it because God was there throughout comforting us and encouraging us not to give up. My husband and I are so grateful and we cannot stop thanking you for listening to our prayers.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for being with us, interceding for us and providing comfort for us. Whenever I feel hopeless, I come to your shrine to pray and I am reminded of God’s goodness. Especially when I lost my mother a few years back and when my father walked out of the family 12 years ago. I thank you for the comfort you bring whenever my siblings and I feel lost. Thank you for being a mother to us each and everyday.

Your Catholic Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

I am thankful that my parents were able to witness my baptism. I am also thankful that my dad is able to keep up to his daily routine despite what the doctors said that he may have the dreaded cancer. He chose to submit to God’s will and decided not to do any further tests in the hospital. He chose to spend time with the family and praying in Church. He has shown me what it means to be a Catholic who is devoted to you.

Your Newly-Baptised Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I have been attending the Novena devotion regularly and have asked for your intercession for my daughter to pass her Bar exams. She has sat for this paper twice but just could not get through. Today, she received news that she has passed the exams. Thank you Mother Mary for your powerful intercession and prayers.

Your Grateful Son.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for your intercession, protection and guidance. I have just completed my cycle of chemotherapy. Thank you for being there for me during the process.

Your Grateful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

I woke up today feeling blessed. I have a constant battle with my chronic eczema. There are times when I wanted to give up as it gives me so much embarrassment to go out of the house. I realized this is nothing compared to other people who are going through so much in life. My condition is incurable but it can be controlled. Thank you for giving me the means and resources to control my disease. I thank God for His grace and healing hands. I also thank you for being there for me during the difficult moments in my life.

Your Loving Daughter.
