Thanksgiving – 13 July 2019

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for giving me such a patient and understanding husband and the many supportive and caring family and friends during my pregnancy. I am very thankful for them.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for the many blessings you have poured out on me these past 70 years. I have been coming to you since I was a child. You have been the most important, life-giving part of my spiritual life.

Your Faithful Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for hearing my prayers. After 44 days in the hospital, my husband was finally discharged. He was in ICU for 27 days and the doctors were giving up on him. I turned to you for your intercession and I knew you would help me. You answered my prayers and I am really thankful and I know a miracle has happened.

Your Loving Daughter.

  1. Dear Mother Mary,

I am writing this thanksgiving letter on behalf of my brother. Thank you for giving my brother love, warmth, peace and security when he was facing many struggles in his life and was mistreated by others. Thank you for giving him the opportunity to start life anew. I am very grateful from the bottom of my heart that you have stayed by his side throughout all his trials and for allowing him to be more courageous when facing his fears.

Your Catholic Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for showering us with your love. We just found out that my wife is 6 weeks pregnant. Thank you so much for answering our prayer for her to be a mother again, especially after going through cancer and is recovering just after her last pregnancy. We were anxious for both mother and child but we have laid all our worries at the feet of your Son, knowing that both of you will be with us.

Your Loving Children.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I am a cradle Catholic who has never written a petition or a thanksgiving letter to you in the last 64 years until 2 weeks ago when I wrote my 1st petition to you as my wife was brought to the A&E with pneumonia. Her condition became more and more complex as the specialist suspected she may have had a heart blockage or weak heart. There was also a mass growth in her liver. Throughout this negative prognosis, I prayed to you and for God’s mercy and love. The liver prognosis of possible growth turned out to be incorrect and I thank you for interceding for us. On the eve before she was discharged, my wife had a heart seizure and the doctor said her heart stopped for nearly 10 minutes and she may be brain dead. We continued to pray unceasingly to you and by God’s mercy and grace, she regained consciousness. Miraculously, she did sustain brain damage and has been discharged. I come on bended knees before you and our Lord, for it is through your intercession and God’s mercy and love that my wife has recovered fully.

Your Grateful Son.

  1. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you for helping my younger son to cope with work while pursuing a 2nd degree at SMU every Saturday for the last 1 and half years and for blessing him with success in the final exam a few weeks ago. Thank you Mother, for watching over us and interceding for us.

Your Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for blessing my niece with a smooth delivery and with a healthy baby boy on her first wedding anniversary. This special gift brings lots of joy and happiness to our family.

Your Catholic Daughter.

  1. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for helping me to overcome the emotional trauma of having to sell my house. You brought the right buyer and gave us a good offer for our house. I am happy that our house has been sold to my neighbor so that his son’s family can live next door to them.

Your Son.
