Thanksgiving – 3 Jul 2021

1. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for praying for my baby son. He was diagnosed with a brain condition early during the pregnancy. Through the difficult times we continued to pray for your intercession and for God’s healing. He is now 1 month old and the doctors have shared with us that his condition is less severe and hopefully his brain will develop as the years go by. Mother, we thank you for your intercession for our baby. We ask that you continue to pray for him for his recovery and to enjoy God’s favour and receive God’s healing.

Your Grateful Catholic Son.

2. Dear Mother Mary,

I thank you for your love and care for me all these years. You led me and kept me close to your Son, Jesus, my Lord and Saviour. You interceded for my sons who left the Church because things did not go their way and they felt that God did not love them. I petitioned to you for their change of heart and while they have not yet done so, just last week, they received promotions in their respective jobs. I know this is because of your intercession, Mother. I believe that everything happens in God’s time and this can be the catalyst to their seeing the presence of God in their lives. I will continue to pray that they will realize how much Jesus loves them and that one day soon, they will turn back to Him with complete devotion. Thank you, Mother. You are my inspiration and my hope. I love you.

Your Grateful Daughter.

3. Dear Mother Mary,

I want to express my gratitude for answering my prayer. Life is hard since Covid-19. My husband and I feel hopeless, helpless and tired with the financial difficulties. But you are there for us to strengthen us and provide us with every urgent need. Thank you, Mother for your guidance. We may not be doing well still but we believe you will always be here for us and protect us from any harm and from the virus.

Your Daughter.

4. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

I thank you for the wonderful gift of life and health to my grandmother who just turned 93, my mother who is 73, for my aunt and me as we celebrate our birthdays this month. Thank you for all the blessings you have given.

Your Loving Child.

5. Dearest Mother,

Thank you very much for your prayers and intercession. My husband is well after his first dose of the vaccine. He only experienced very mild side effects and was able to go to work as usual after the jab. Please pray for him to also be well when he takes the second dose of the vaccine.

Your Grateful Child.

6. Dear Mother Mary,

I am writing this letter to thank you for your prayers for my friend’s wonderful recovery from a severe lung infection. His situation two weeks ago was so bad that his wife had lost hope and even wrote his eulogy to prepare for the worst. Your prayers for him to your Son, Jesus, restored out hope and joy. He is still recovering in hospital. Please continue to lift him up in your prayers. I am hopeful that he will recover fully. Once again, thank you Mother.

Your Daughter.

7. Dearest Mother, t

Thank you for having helped me detect that I was the victim of a scam before the charges could get any higher. I know that surely this enlightenment came as I looked at your icon I have on my table. Although the damage was done, I am glad I did not lose more. Please intercede for me that the bank will help reverse the charges and grant me the grace to forgive the one who has scammed me, put this incident behind me and to forgive myself as well for having let it happen as I continue to blame myself. Yet I trust that with your gracious intercession and help, I will one day be able to pray for those who have harmed me.

Your Thankful Daughter.

8. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

I had prayed for your intercession to be gainfully employed. I can never thank you enough that I have landed a job after countless searches. I am most grateful especially with this one as it came recommended and the whole process was very smooth. Not only it gave me a sense of relief but it totally radiated all the positivity and good vibes I was getting and also the people I met during the process. Thank you, Mother, for your intercession. I know your dearest Son, made me wait patiently so that he could present me with the right one. Please continue to intercede for me as I start my new journey and give me the strength to manage the challenges that will come my way. I love you so much dearest Mother.

Your Daughter.

9. Dear Mother Mary,

Many would say 2020 was bad due to Covid-19 but I would say 2021 is worse for me. I had a very hard time at work due to office politics. Attempts to steer clear of it didn’t spare me from harm. Then there’s my health I had to deal with. I remember finding solace in the “Hail Mary” prayer when I was on the operating table and during my post operation journey. Although my medical condition is not resolved, thankfully it isn’t life threatening. Life was hard dealing with these 2 events. I’ve prayed very hard and there were times when I felt my faith weakening due to the stresses I encountered daily. Thankfully Mother, you interceded for me and lately I am blessed with not one but 2 job offers. Thank you, Mother. Thank you for being there for me. Through these trials, I have also started to pick up the bible again and even celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation. I am so grateful for this second chance in life. Mother Mary, I know I may still encounter challenges in the future. And hence, I pray for resilience and unwavering faith to stay close to you and Christ in all that I do.

Your Faithful Child.

10. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your intercession. My prayers have finally been answered and I am finally a step closer to becoming a full-time primary school teacher. How wonderful is our Lord, and how great you are, Mother. I hope I will be able to go back to a Catholic school so that I can better serve the community. Thank you once again, Mother.

Your Ever-Loving Daughter.

11. Dear Mother Mary,

I had to undergo a minor surgery earlier this week. I had a cyst on my lower back which caused me a lot of pain and had left me unable to do basic things like sitting, standing or walking. This was my first time being admitted into a hospital and being all alone throughout. And due to the Covid-19 restrictions the hospital had in place made it even more difficult. But I was never truly alone. I know you were there with me by my side guiding me and watching over me. You never allowed me to feel alone, not for one moment. I prayed the rosary and the prayer of confidence because you always stretch out your hands to us poor sinners. On my way to the operating theatre, I prayed the Hail Mary continuously in my heart and sang your beautiful song “Mary From Thy Sacred Image”. The whole surgery was completed successfully. I am now discharged and am home recovering. Mother, thank you so much for showing me your grace and your care. I truly bless and thank God for giving me this confidence in you. Thank you for never leaving my side and for giving me the strength to overcome this little hurdle. Continue to watch over me and my family, for we truly love you and adore your glorious Son. I love you so much.

Your Faithful Catholic Son.

12. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

No words can describe my sincere and loving gratitude for taking so good care of me and my family. Thank you for giving me strength and health to work for 14 years with this organization. I will be 75 years old next year. With your guidance and help, I have been able to perform all my daily duties well without any negative feedback from staff and the community. Dearest Mother, I pray that I will be able to continue to work. Please whisper to me when I am to retire. Please continue to wrap your loving arms around my children and grandchildren who are living overseas.

Your Ever-Loving Daughter.
