I want to offer my thanksgiving for everything that went well with my job interview. After 8 intensive rounds, I finally got through. My existing company agreed for early release and everything fell in place by your grace. Indeed, great are your prayers.
Your Loving Daughter.
2. My Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,
This letter may have come a little late but I want to express my utmost gratitude for your prayers and intercession. After 2 miscarriages over the past 2 years, we are finally blessed with a beautiful little girl who was born in March. I thank you for always watching over me and all my loved ones who have provided me with so much support since I conceived up till now.
Your Thankful Daughter.
3. Dearest Mother,
My admission outcome for NTU is finally here! I don’t have to wait anymore. Thank you for interceding for me and giving me strength. Thank you for always bringing me closer to God each and every day and helping me stay close to my loved ones.
Your Grateful Child.
4. Dearest Mama Mary,
My friend was suddenly taken ill with a minor heart attack and became depressed after her discharge as she felt weak and helpless. She thinks she is better off dead but with your intercession she made a quick turnaround and though not back to her old self yet it has allowed her to regain her appetite and strength to be more active. Thank you so much for answering our prayers.
Your Loving Child.
5. Dearest Mother,
I thank you for hearing my prayers and for interceding to your Son, to save my friend from a positive Covid 19 test. It was eventually a negative result and she is being discharged and on her way home to her country. I know it would not have been possible without your intercession. Thank you Mother and I love you so much. I believe in the power of prayer.
Your Loving Daughter.
6. Dear Mother of Perpetual Succour,
I am a single father of a 20-year-old son from a failed marriage. After a bitter divorce more than 11 years ago, I came to your shrine and vowed never to get married again. However, with your prayers and intercession, without me knowing or asking, God sent me a loving and forgiving partner. After an official annulment by the Catholic Tribunal, I finally became open to give the sacrament of Holy Matrimony a chance at my vocation of being married. My God-fearing wife was moved by your mercy, Mother, that she eventually converted from Buddhism to Catholicism. Today, she serves happily as a sponsor in Novena Church since her baptism 4 years ago. I was scarred by the experience of bringing up a son who was constantly pitted against me in my previous marriage. To say that, I was terrified to be a father again is an understatement. However, I found myself tremendously happy when I learnt that my wife was pregnant on Easter Sunday! To make the good news even better, she is expected to deliver on Christmas this year! How miraculous! Words of gratitude alone cannot express our heartfelt joy of your Son’s blessings and your endless intercession despite our lack of preparedness for this beautiful and wonderful surprise! My wife mentioned that Jesus gently prompted her after our wedding to ask why we were afraid to have children again and told her not to worry. We surrendered and said that if the Lord’s Will it that we are ready, even when we don’t think so or feel so, we know we will be made ready and follow God’s Will.
