Thanksgiving – 17 Apr 2021

1. Dearest Mother,

I really like to thank you for helping me with a good tenant for my place and the income from which helps to upkeep my family’s monthly expenses. Without which, I really don’t know what to do, my mum is suffering from dementia and she needs me by her side. I believe it is your continuous prayer for me and my family that keeps all of us in the Lord’s blessings.

Your Loving Child.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Succour,

Thank you for saving me from ending my life at the beginning of this year. This was the result of experiencing severe burnout from my job at a large firm where I felt hopeless and depressed every day. Thank you for giving me the strength to quit that job. Now I am recovering gradually and am being grateful for every kind-hearted person who has come my way to help me. Thank you for always being here for us.

Your Grateful Child.

3. Dear Mother Mary,

I have been out of job since last December and have been actively searching for opportunities during this tough time of the pandemic. After weeks of searching, I have been offered not one, but two opportunities to pursue in my next step of my career. I want to thank you for your continuous intercession during this difficult time.

Your Daughter.

4. Dearest Mother,

My family and I are eternally grateful to you and the Lord Jesus, for blessing my son and daughter-in-law with a second child. Mother, please continue to pray for the well-being and good health to both mother and child and God’s grace for the baby to be brought to full term for us to see God’s gift created in His image and likeness. Thank you, Blessed Mother, for your continued prayers for them and for God’s blessings and love for my family.

Your Loving Son.

5. Dearest Mother Mary,

In the last few weeks I went through my passport renewal and work pass extension. I would like to thank you for helping me, taking care of me, loving me and the process went smoothly. I have successfully got my new passport and extension. Therefore, I need not have to leave Singapore and be quarantined. I know you are always beside me.

Your Non-Catholic Daughter.

6. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for constantly praying and interceding for my family and my loved ones. Last Sunday, my wife had a fall in a coffee shop and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. Through your kind intercession, she only suffered bruises to her head, face and thigh. I thank you for praying for her to receive a very good report on her cholesterol level. She has since stopped taking medicine.

Your Grateful Son.

7. Dear Mama Mary,

My spouse has finally agreed to join the RCIA this year after many years of prayer and your intercession.

Your Loving Daughter.
