Thanksgiving – 13 Feb 2021

1. Dear Mother Mary,

I wrote a petition to you in September last year to ask for your intercession for my daughter who was struggling with depression. She attempted suicide in November but was miraculously saved. She is currently under medication and counselling, and she is in a much better mental and emotional state. She prays more now and realises that nothing is impossible with God. Thank you for your powerful intercession.

Your Grateful Daughter.

2. Dear Mother Mary,

The past few months have been challenging, but it was during these moments when I felt your loving presence most clearly. I was stranded overseas due to the pandemic, and I received the news that my mother’s cancer had metastasized and spread all over her body. Through your intercession, I managed to take time off from work and was reunited with my family. My mother’s condition has also improved tremendously and she has responded very well to treatment. We are very grateful for your prayers and intercession.

Your Loving Daughter.

3. Dearest Mother Mary,

I wrote a petition letter last Friday asking for prayers for a smooth delivery of my baby. I went into labour on Saturday, and our baby was born on Sunday. It was a smooth and fast delivery, and our baby is very healthy. We are very grateful!

Your Grateful Child.

4. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your intercession and for all my answered prayers. I thank God for blessing my family back in the Philippines with good health. Thank you, dear Mother, for praying for my patient whom I’m looking after. The results of her blood test were good. Thank you, Mother, for obtaining for me the grace, strength, courage, and compassion to care for her even though I have been looking after her all by myself.

Your Thankful Daughter.

5. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

My husband had been experiencing a lot of pain, and had to undergo a colonoscopy. Thanks to your prayers and the graces showered upon us through your Son, Jesus, my husband completed the colonoscopy, and nothing abnormal was discovered.

Your Daughter.

6. Dear Mother Mary,

I would like to express my gratitude for your intercession for my daughter’s “O” level examinations. Even though she did not perform as well as we had hoped for, through your intercession, she has obtained a place for the diploma course which she wanted so badly. Thank you again for all the graces I’ve obtained through your intercession since I first came to Novena Church in 1990.

Your Catholic Son.

7. Dear Mother Mary,

Through your prayers and help, my daughter has managed to return safely to Singapore from abroad. She has completed her quarantine successfully, and her swab test results are negative. Thank You for your intercession and prayers.

Your Daughter.

8. Dear Mother Mary,

In the midst of these challenging and uncertain times, I have been very worried about the future of my job. Thanks to your intercession, I received a text message from my superior that I will be promoted and will be receiving a pay rise. I am very grateful.

Your Loving Child.

9. Dearest Mother Mary,

My daughter and I were diagnosed with Covid-19 some time back, and we both spent more than a month in hospital. I prayed for your intercession, and we have been blessed with a complete healing and recovery. Thank you so much, dear Mother.

Your Grateful Daughter.

10. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

I got into a severe traffic accident recently, and I was certain that I would have lost my life had it not been for your constant intercession for me to your Son Jesus. Thank you so much, dear Mother, for interceding for me and keeping me safe.

Your Daughter.

11. Dearest Mother,

My son had been struggling with drug addiction. I sought your intercession for him to overcome his addiction and to stop taking illegal drugs. Thanks to your prayers, we were able to nip the problem in the bud and my son now realises the severity and potential harmful consequences of taking illegal drugs.

Your Faithful Daughter.

12. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your intercession and for helping me to obtain this job 32 years ago, despite the recession back then. Thank you, too, for guiding me throughout my working life. It will be my 32nd anniversary in my company tomorrow, and I am very grateful for everything.

Your Grateful Daughter.
