Thanksgiving – 12 Jun 2021

1. Dearest Mother,

My heart was full of sorrow when my son shared with me that his wife was planning to leave him. Although he tried his best to make the marriage work, apparently my daughter-in-law still wanted to leave him. I prayed to you for help as this is a difficult time for my son. Although the marriage is still on the rocks, I want to thank you for helping my son to get out of depression.

2. Dear Mother,

Thank you for helping me to rectify my mistake at work. It could have been costly but with your help, the mistake has been corrected with no loss.

Your Daughter.

3. Dearest Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you so much for your powerful intercession that by God’s grace I have been blessed with a place in a local university. It would not have been possible without your intercession. Thank you loving Mother, words can never be enough to express how grateful I am to you and your Son, Lord Jesus Christ.

4. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for interceding for me to your Son, Jesus Christ. I was blessed with a very good job in Singapore which helped me to take care of my life financially and become independent.

Your Grateful Child.

5. Dearest Mother of God,

Thank you for being a loving mother to me. When I was still a school girl and did not do well in my studies, I often came to your shrine and penned down my prayers. I might not have known your powerful intercession at that time but I found peace and comfort right away. Mother, through all the trying times in my life, you are always there for me. Because of you and your Son, Jesus, I have never felt lonely or depressed. My mother passed away more than two-and-a-half years ago. I still miss her a lot and I trust that she is with you in heaven now. Thank you for always protecting us and loving us.

Your Grateful Daughter.

6. Dearest Mother Mary,

Thank you for praying for me and interceding in my prayers. I came to you 2 years ago with so much hurt and tears. A friend encouraged me to come to you. She accompanied me here for 8 weeks. Prayers after prayers, although my relationship was not mended but I found peace. I lifted all my worries and anger to our Lord. He has done so much for me, opening doors of opportunities for my child and me. Thank you, Mother, for you love and the blessings that you have bestowed on us.

Your Loving Daughter.

7. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

It is with tears in my eyes that I to write in utmost gratitude to you and your Son, that after 11 years of marriage, this year I finally get to celebrate Mother’s Day. It has not been an easy journey and we almost lost hope and faith so many times along the way. I know the arrival of our twin daughters this April is nothing short of a miracle. With my age and medical problems, the pregnancy had also not been easy. It was a high-risk pregnancy and every antenatal appointment filled me with worry over what the doctors would say. We wrote petitions to you constantly throughout the pregnancy and you saw us through each step of the way.

Your Grateful Child.

8. Dear Mother,

I thank you for the miraculous healing of my brother-in-law. He was battling Covid for 40 days and after a week of recovery he has been reunited with his family. You are truly a Mother of Compassion and Mercy, you don’t even let him remember any pain and suffering at all. We thank you for this miracle of a second life.

Your Loving Daughter.

9. Dear Mother of Perpetual Help,

Thank you so much for your intercession for me to take up the postgrad diploma course that I have been contemplating for so long. I had some concerns about whether I could persevere to take it up and complete it as a night class with my full-time job and wanted to push it back a few more years. However, with the current situation, I could work from home and take the course online which assures me that I need not travel to and fro and could have more time for my studies. What is even better is that my organization has agreed to sponsor the full course fees and I need not have to worry about money. These are all blessings to me and reassuring me that you and God are always on my side and by my side. Words alone are not enough to express my gratitude to you and God for being with me.

Your Grateful Daughter.
