Thanksgiving – 1 May 2021

1. Dearest Mother,

Thank you for your continuous intercession for me to Jesus. 14 years ago, God, through His Holy Spirit, inspired me in my sleep to receive Holy Communion regularly and that He would heal my illness. And God did as promised! Last year, my autoimmune problem returned due to Church closure and manifested in issues like IBS and a curved spine. I was in pain all the time. However, when I received Holy Communion on the first Friday this year, I was instantly healed. Words cannot describe the joy of being liberated from fatigue and pain by Jesus.

2. Dear Mother of Perpetual Succour,

Thank you for protecting my husband and his job in this difficult situation. I also thank you for protecting my mental health and healing me of my skin disease.

Your Grateful Child.

3. Dear Mother Mary,

Thank you for your intercession for my brother-in-law who was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago. However, after further scans to determine the appropriate treatment of the cancer, the growths have shrunk so much and became inactive. The oncologist was baffled. We know this is a miracle and we cannot thank you enough! Thank you, Mother Mary!!

4. Dearest Mother,

My mom received her first dose of the Covid vaccine yesterday and only experienced minimal side effects. We pray that the vaccines will be made more available in the Philippines. Philippines have been in lockdown for more than a year now and many people are suffering. Mama Mary, please pray and intercede for us that we may overcome this suffering.

Your Hopeful Child.

5. Dearest Mother Mary,

My friend’s father was infected with Covid and had to be hospitalised for several days. He was discharged yesterday. Thank you, Mother Mary, for your prayers and intercession. The whole family was in a lot of anxiety for the situation could have been worse but thankfully he was able to survive the Covid.

Your Thankful Child.

6. Dear Mother Mary,

We are truly grateful to you and our Heavenly Father for blessing us with our only daughter. She is our precious pride and joy and is a caring, self-motivated and empathetic child of God. We have just received the good news earlier that our daughter has passed her final NUS medical exams and has graduated as a doctor. This would not have been possible without your constant intercession and guidance all these years, together with our Lord’s mercy and blessings. Please continue to guide our daughter as she embarks on her mission to do your Son’s will, to serve with humility, compassion and love. Thank you very much, dearest Mother.

Your Ever-Grateful Son & Daughter.
